My last full time Executive position ended on Dec. 31, 2010. I was a part of a leadership team of three, including the Owner.  Like so many companies today, they were struggling to keep their heads above water until the economy improves. I led the team toward major expense cuts including, but not limited to, a 10% pay cut for everyone, discontinued 401K Match and ajusted the employee benefit plan.  In addition to improving the P&L, I also improved the position of the Balance Sheet.  I completed growth projections for five years.  The projections I created allowed us to compare actual costs to projections and make changes, when necessary, in a timely  manner.

I have an excellent working knowledge of all day-to-day accounting activities.  My expertise includes closing financial periods monthly and year end.  

I have supervised an accounting staff, as well as functioned as a one person accounting department.  In small companies, I can funtion as the HR department.

My areas of responsibilities have included A/R, A/P, P/R and all associated payroll taxes.  I have personally processed P/R for over 100 employees; I have also outsourced to ADP and Paychex.

A large part of my work experience includes the construction industry.  Construction provided me experience in Job Cost, Certified Payroll, Over and Under calculations, AIA billings and management of 1099's.

I have extensive cash management experience.

I have completed numerous computer inplementations.
